Bodewes Shipyards
Quality, reliability and flexibility are key words at Bodewes Scheepswerven B.V., situated in Hoogezand alongside the canal "Winschoterdiep". The shipyard has a long history in building ships, it was founded in 1812.

About Bodewes

From the early beginning building ships, as well as the contact with clients, was based on quality and reliability. And in time, another feature was added: flexibility. These three key words are the basis for continuity. Through the years innumerable ships, designed for diverse purposes, have left the shipyard. Nowadays the yard can deliver multi purpose vessels from 800 tdw up to 15.000 tdw.

The vessels built on the independent shipyard Bodewes all differ, interior as well as exterior.
They are the creations of skilled and highly motivated workers and are made possible by the inventiveness, the knowledge and experience of a perfect organization.

The success of Bodewes is based on its philosophy: a new ship is not looked upon as a means of transport, which happens to float, but as an indispensable part of a complete logistic system. The criteria for the optimization of the final product are identified within the triangle of charterer, ship-owner and shipyard.

Shipyard Bodewes has an innovative nature, apparent from the continuous development of ships for new market segments.
