Successful launch sea-river vessel ‘Lady Anneke’
On Friday December 16th, Groningen Shipyard Waterhuizen successfully launched the sea-river vessel ‘Lady Anneke’ for Wijnne Barends. This is the second in a series of 3700tdw vessels, which will primarily operate in the European coastal waters, including the Trollhättan canal, the rivers Rhine and Seine. This new generation of sea-river vessels is characterized by an optimized hull form with a limited power below 750kW and a high capacity of payload. The expected delivery of the ‘Lady Anneke’ is scheduled for mid April.
