Two More CIP 3800 Vessels Join the Wilson ECO Series
This month marked the elegant launch of the Wilson ECO III and the delivery of the Wilson ECO II, belonging to the series of six general cargo vessels of 3,800 dwt for Wilson ASA Norway, built by Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL). These vessels bring the Wilson ECO series one step closer to completion while reinforcing its commitment to sustainable shipping.
More Than Just a Series
These Wilson ECO vessels represent the sustainability our standard designs are built for, with each vessel contributing to efficient sailing. The vessels are based on our CIP standard designs, complementing them with future-proof features and modularity. With the CIP 3800 dwt standard designs enabling longevity and flexibility, they are easily adaptable to any necessary regulations or modifications for our future waters.
Sustainability In Every Wave
Among their many characteristics, these general cargo vessels are ready for wind-assisted propulsion, welcoming the possibility to sail forward with ease. With optimized hulls and D&A Electric’s e-prop system, the series offers an additional boost in efficiency and smooth sailing.
With more sister vessels to join the waters, we look forward to seeing this remarkable series coming to life.
Wilson ASA’s program does not end here, as they are soon to welcome eight 6,300 dwt vessels based on our CIP standard designs as well, continuing in the direction of green shipping, one sustainable vessel at a time.
