Launch of the first ECO series vessel

Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited launches the first in a series of six CIP3800 vessels for Wilson ASA

On December 17th, the first vessel in Wilson’s ECO series was officially launched at the Udupi Cochin Shipyard. The vessel is built according to our CIP3800 design, and set to become fully operational by Q2 of 2025. The ECO series will consist of six CIP3800 vessels, marking one of their biggest fleet expansions in recent years.

Our collaboration with Wilson ASA doesn’t stop here. Together, we’re extending the partnership with a new series of CIP6300 vessels, projected to be operational by 2026.

Our colleagues Maarten Sickler (Sales Director) and Geert Dokter (CEO) were present at the launching ceremony at Cochin Shipyard in Kerala, India. Alongside representatives of Wilson ASA and the Norwegian Embassy, the event was a great success. We are pleased with the cooperation between Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited and our team and hope this marks the beginning of many great achievements together.
