The Wilson ECO Series
The delivery of the Wilson ECO VI marks the final milestone in a six-vessel series of CIP3800 general cargo ships. By leveraging our CIP-platform, the Wilson ECO series was engineered to achieve up to 35% fuel savings compared to conventional coasters in the same DWT class. Featuring an optimized hull form, diesel-electric propulsion, and modular engine room arrangements, these vessels deliver optimized performance while remaining adaptable to future environmental mandates.

Introducing the CIP6300
The proven success and rapid execution of the CIP3800 series paved the way for the next evolution. As the Wilson ECO VI enters operational service, production is officially underway on the first-ever CIP6300 vessels for Wilson ASA. Taking the proven aerodynamic, hydrodynamic, and modular principles of the CIP3800 platform, the CIP6300 scales up cargo capacity to 6,300 DWT. This offers short-sea operators greater economy of scale without compromising on shallow-draft accessibility or energy efficiency. Our CIP6300 design can be tailored to comply with Ice Class 1A standards upon request.

The CIP series is Ready to Evolve
Like all designs in the CIP series, both the CIP3800 and CIP6300 are engineered to adapt to evolving emissions targets. Among others, this includes FuelEU Maritime and the IMO Net-Zero Requirements.
Every design in the platform is future-proofed from day one. They feature structural preparations for Wind-Assisted Ship Propulsion (WASP). Additionally, they are architected for seamless retrofits to alternative fuel systems as green fuel supply chains mature.

The rapid rollout of the CIP series highlights what is possible when standardized engineering meets commercial ambition. The designs are available from 3,600 DWT to 9,000 DWT with many more options becoming available shortly. This provides shipowners with bankable, scalable, and low-risk solutions for fleet renewal.
