Spliethoff DP2 B-type vessels offshore supply

Design Philosophy

Introducing to you the M.V. Brouwersgracht, which sets a new standard for multipurpose heavy lift vessels with its adaptive qualities that distinguish it from other vessels on the market. Its unique design seamlessly combines a cargo vessel’s multipurpose capabilities with superior DP2 station-keeping capabilities, making it the ideal vessel for offshore transportation of heavy loads of goods. The ship also has a detachable, automated pipe-handling gantry crane that makes it easier to load and unload pipes onshore as well as offshore. The vessel is suitable for heavy lift cargo and offshore installation thanks to the two Huisman 500 mt Heavy Lift Mast cranes that are on board. The propulsion and power generating systems are outfitted with scrubbers and SCR systems to ensure environmental friendliness and meet strict restrictions for SOx and NOx emissions. The vessel offers unmatched performance with a deadweight of 12,500 mt, two intermediate deck levels, and more than 5,900 m2 of total deck space. Conoship supplied the Concept and Basic Design in close cooperation with the owner and the yard.
