Recap of Breakbulk Europe 2023

It was good to meet so many people at Breakbulk 2023!

We had a great time at Breakbulk Europe 2023. The event had more than 10,000 participants from 126 countries, it was a unique opportunity to get to know our clients and establish good connections. The conversations we had concerning the challenges that companies are facing in their projects and how our green solutions for the shipping industry can make a difference were really inspiring. The market is embracing measures to initiate decarbonising the shipping industry.

“This event is a good opportunity for us to connect with decision-makers from across the Breakbulk ecosystem, including Project Owners, Shipbuilders, Shipyards, Equipment Providers and many more. Conoship is at the forefront of innovation and technology in the maritime industry and our goal is always to develop future-proof designs and engineering. It was great to see that the companies in the industry are shaping up to become ready for the future because this is the only direction to go”, says Maarten Sickler, Sales Director at Conoship International.

Conoship’s innovative and environmentally friendly CIP 3600, 3800 & 6000 DWAT General Cargo Vessels attracted a lot of interest from people all over the world. These vessels represent the future of short-sea shipping and are designed to be versatile, reliable, and adaptable to the changing needs of the maritime industry. The eConowind VentoFoil units and its modern innovations in aerodynamics, creating high propelling force, were also a common topic of interest of the attendants of our stand.

Our company also participated in the Breakfast for Women in Breakbulk, a panel that brought together women from different sectors to share their perspectives on building a successful career in the maritime, project cargo and breakbulk industry. We witnessed that in a predominantly male-dominated industry, women are steadily making their mark.

For sure, Conoship will exhibit next year at Breakbulk Europe again at stand 1E30. So make sure to save the date from the 21st to the 23rd of May, 2024. If you want to learn more about our practical solutions for the shipping industry, contact us.
