In Memory of Kees Noordegraaf

It was with profound sadness that we learned this week of the death of our great colleague and true friend, Kees Noordegraaf.

Kees served Conoship with unrivalled dedication and distinction over many years, from 1976 until his retirement in 2012 (and even after). Kees was a passionate ship designer and his style is easily recognizable in his designs. Thankfully, this way his creative spirit will remain with us for a long time.

Kees will be remembered fondly by all of us for his skills, intelligence and enthusiasm. His technical knowledge and the willingness to share this with others, both colleagues and students, will be sorely missed. Our thoughts go out to his wife Maria, children, grandchildren and relatives.
