Walk to Work Vessel Into Service

Third ‘walk-to-work’ vessel into service as ‘Keizersborg’

keisersborg-4
Wagenborg Offshore has taken its third walk-to-work vessel (W2W) into service as Keizersborg. An existing platform supply ship ‘SK728’ has been converted into the W2W vessel at shipyard Royal Niestern Sander in Delfzijl. For this vessel we have performed some conversion engineering and a couple of inclining tests.

This third walk to work vessel is used as a standby and support vessel for inspection and maintenance of unmanned platforms in both Dutch and British waters in the southern North Sea.
